Wong Yih Sy
Board Of Director
Mr. Wong Yih Sy is currently the chairman of the Grace Tutors Association, a non-profit charitable organization that provides free tutoring services to underprivileged students, helping them overcome learning difficulties.
With a passion for helping younger generations, he serves as a board member of Strive Foundation Limited. Before returning to Hong Kong from New York to retire in 2004, Mr. Wong was the Executive Vice President and Global Head of Emerging Markets - Sales & Trading, overseeing operations in over sixty countries at Citigroup. He was also a member of Citigroup’s Management Committee and was the highest-ranking Chinese executive in the company.
Prior to that, Mr. Wong held various positions at Citibank, including Hong Kong Treasurer, North Asia Regional Treasurer, and Regional Head of Financial Markets for Asia Pacific in Hong Kong and Singapore.
Mr. Wong’s public service roles before his assignments in Singapore and New York included serving as Director of the Hong Kong Futures Exchange, Committee Member of the Corruption Prevention Committee of the Hong Kong Independent Commission Against Corruption, and President of the Hong Kong Forex Association.

Janice Wang
Janice Wang is the CEO of Alvanon, a global body technology company in the apparel industry. With a strong commitment to social impact, she serves as a board member of Strive Foundation Limited, where she contributes her expertise in business strategy and leadership.
Janice is also actively involved in several charitable organizations, including The Hong Kong Research Institute of Textiles and Apparel Limited (HKRITA), the International Women’s Forum, Zonta Club of Hong Kong II, and The Mills Fabrica.
Her dedication to empowering communities and fostering sustainable practices makes her a respected leader in both the corporate and nonprofit sectors.

William Lo
Co-Founder & Head Coach
William Lo is the Founder and Head Basketball Coach of Strive Foundation. He established Strive Foundation with a passion for passing on his knowledge to the next generation in Hong Kong, offering them the same training he received from top experts.
Before founding Strive Foundation, William played NCAA Division III basketball in New York City, where his team won their conference championship. He later became a strength and conditioning coach, studying under some of the best basketball and strength & conditioning coaches across the United States.
William has trained many successful Hong Kong athletes, including two-time Olympic gold medalist Edgar Cheung, Hong Kong professional basketball player Duncan Reid, Hong Kong National Soccer Team Captain Edmond Yapp, and the players of Hong Kong’s professional basketball team, Eastern Basketball.

Angela Wong
Angela Wong is the Director of Corporate Communications & Administration at Jebsen Group and also serves as a board member of the Jebsen Group Charitable Foundation.
Angela is a co-founder of Strive Foundation Limited, an NGO scholarship program that elevates women’s basketball in Hong Kong, with a mission to use basketball as a vehicle to improve the lives of girls and their families.
She is currently the President of the Zonta Club of Hong Kong II and was recognized as a ‘Woman to Watch’ by The Women’s Foundation and the 30% Club Hong Kong Chapter in 2024.
Before joining Jebsen, Angela worked in FX derivatives structuring at Citibank Hong Kong.

Sharon Li
Director Of Operations
Sharon Li is the current Director of Operations at Strive Foundation Limited. Committed to making a positive impact on the community and future generations, she plays a vital role in overseeing the day-to-day operations at Strive Foundation.
At the onset of the COVID pandemic, Sharon returned from the United States to Hong Kong. During her time in the U.S., she completed her studies in Exercise Science, Sport Psychology, and Sport Management.
Sharon competed in collegiate golf at the NCAA Division III level, where she was a three-time All-American and was named the Division III Women’s Golf Player of the Year in 2014. After college, she served as an Assistant Golf Coach at both Ithaca College and Rutgers University.
Before joining Strive Foundation, Sharon was a Golf Instructor at the Hong Kong Golf and Tennis Academy.
